Smaller and lighter, they do an adequate job with a few caveats.
These 3.8AH batteries seem to work just fine in my new brushless quiet series Ryobi Blower. They do not put out the same amount of power as my OEM 4.0AH, which is apparent when I use them. They also have an issue with charging on my charger, the charging lights go whacky when these batteries are charging, but after pulling the battery out and reseating them, they seem to charge fully. All in all, yes, they work just fine. I like having them handy on the bigger jobs around the lawn when the 4.0AH runs out of charge, 2 of these definately get me through the bigger jobs.These 3.8AH batteries seem to work just fine in my new brushless quiet series Ryobi Blower. I thought the8 amp would last longer but they dont. They are still cheaper than buying ryobi 4 amp batteries tho. I didn’t notice any power difference either. Imo these are still worth buying even tho the runtime is the same. I might buy another 2 pack Ran 2 of these 8 amp batteries in my ryobi brushless weed wacker against 2 ryobi 4 amp batteries and times the run times. They are almost exactly the same. Replacement Battery Battery replacement
Ordered a pair of the 6ah generic batteries and after using one of the today with weed eater it is working great. Cheaper than the name brand.

Not even close
It worked at first. But now it turns off in the middle of using the battery. The battery is supposed to be 3.8 Ah but it is lighter than my oem 1.5 Ah battery. It also doesn't last as long. I used it for six minutes in my hand vacuum and the battery stopped. I used the oem 1.5 Ah battery for 12min. Also the motor sounds different. It spins faster on the oem battery. Also the description says it's p108 battery pack. But on my battery it says p107.It worked at first. But now it turns off in the middle of using the battery. This battery is the exact same size as the Ryobi brand 3mAh. How it could possibly hold twice the power is perplexing. The picture on the listing is also not the actual product itself.
