    Great hold, but a little too sweet of a scent for me.

    As a pomade, works great on thick hair! Excellent hold even using a dab (the size of a pea or so), goes on easy (especially paired with the layrite comb) and washes out very well. My only complaint is this: I bought this because I heard the scent was not as strong or offensive and that it fades pretty quickly. In the can, smells pretty good; however, it doesn't fade and it kind of makes me nauseated. It just has this sickly, sweet smell that I personally can't stand. I've paired the application with an essential oil and that helped dramatically! On the bright side, I purchased this because of the "light, fading scent" mostly for my wife as she's really sensitive to harsh scents. And SHE isn't bothered by the smell.

    Long time users

    For long time users of this brand beware its great price and the smell is almost exact but if ur a long user of this brand the quality seems to lack on this particular version i used. I normally buy in store never online. Something about this one seems off brand. It still does the job but the hold is lacking if u know the brand.

    Good Quality Product

    This is a good product that I've been using for many years. Although hard to find available locally, Ebay helps with that. Price is very similar to other hair products, but Layrite has always been top notch in quality.

    Good Hold & Smells Great

    This is great pomade. It's got great hold, it water soluble, and best of all...it smells like Cream Soda! This is my "go to" pomade. I buy it two jars at a time. It is a little pricy but for my short hair, it lasts a long time.

    Layrite review

    I first tried the Superhold Pomade, which smells amazing (cream soda) but its pretty thick and holds with extra strength. I recently opted for the natural matte cream, which doesnt leave my hair looking slicked (it also smells really good. I love this product
