    FINALY something the rest of us can laugh with!

    If you voted for “hope” and change” in the 2008 presidential elections there is a good chance that you will not like this film. However, if you have a conservative bend and you are tired of having the United States run down in movies, TV, etc. then this is your film. Brought to you by the people that gave us Airplane and Naked Gun this story teaches the main character about true patriotism in the style of the Charles Dickens story a Christmas Carol; that is if Dickens were a half-crazed comedy film writer. The picture has some great laugh out loud moments with Kelsey Grammer as Gen. George S Patton (The Ghost of America Past).     An American Carol ROCKS

    Sure, the plot is a lot like Airplane, but what do you expect. The switch is that this movie is a HUGE departure from liberal nonsense like "Babel" with Brad Pitt. "Carol" pokes fun at Michael Moore/Michael Maloney. It is a tongue in cheek look at issues like gun control, health care, and anything anti-American.     A bit dated, but a humorous conservative view of the over-abundant liberal lunacy.

    Great cameos throughout. I saw this in the theatre when it was first released and thought it was a riot. It was released in the post 9/11 era when Hollywood leftists were busy supporting Muslim terrorists in their quest to destroy the US. Because it appeals to conservative leaning viewers, you will never find it on any of the movie channels on cable. I wanted to see it again, so I just bought it. It is still funny and the humor is still on point; perhaps even more so eleven years later. It pokes fun at Michael Moore, Cuba, Columbia University, Soros-style alt-leftists, and all that silly liberal orthodoxy. I still laughed hard.     Too Close to the Truth for Comfort

    I liked seeing a movie poke fun at the loony liberal leftists for a change. Unfortunately some of the scenarios are no more far-fetched than what the LLL's are actually have done, are doing and/or are promoting. Abolishing the 4th of July is less far-fetched than what those "Hell bent on Socialism" turkeys have done or are proposing. My main beef with the movie is that I thought it should actually go further than it did toward showing the ridiculousness of the liberal lunatics. I bought it because I was sick of doofusses like Keith Olbermann, "Tingle Down the Leg" Chris Matthews and other Obama Kool Aid drinkers spewing forth their kind of garbage-laden nonsense; and I wanted to make sure I was well inoculated with the antidote.     VERY FUNNY... VERY PATRIOTIC... THANKS FOR KEEPING IT CLEAN... An American Carol was the best comedy that I've seen in a long time. It is very Patriotic and shows a side of America that the Liberals (hippies)cannot tolerate, What else is new?. If you are anti-American (Someone who hates the Constitution and its amendments that help perfect it, The generations of Americans that built it and the FREEDOMS we enjoy.)
