Just the right size, and the scissors now work!
I bought a Leatherman Squirt S4 years ago to attach to my keychain so I'd always have a small knife and a pair of scissors with me. That knife worked, but the scissors couldn't stand up to the rigor of spending all day in my pocket. When the ring on the S4 broke, I looked for a replacement, and I chose the ES4 to replace it. What a good choice! It is handy for me to have wire strippers and pliers with me when I need them, and now the scissors are protected by the body of the tool, so they have continued to be useful. I've been an electronics technician for over 30 years and was given one of these as a gift well over 10 years ago. It's been in my pocket almost every day since then because I use it when I'm on the job and working on home projects. The wire strippers alone are worth keeping it in my pocket. So many friends and co-workers have wanted one that I am now giving them as gifts. My version is older than the ES4 and doesn't have the scissors. After all these years, it still functions as good as the day I got it. Leatherman products come with a 25-year warranty, but I don't think I'll ever need to use it. Leather man Squirt ES4
I frequently have to remove insulation from wires to install connectors at my job. Sometimes it is more convenient to use my micra sized ES4 rather than walk to the tool bag. This is a great little tool that replaced a similar Radio Shack branded tool that I broke. Unfortunately the Leatherman company didn't have that exact model and sent me a standard size multi-tool that didn't have the wire stripper feature.
