Great if you have feitheriends to play this with.
This is one of those Smash Bros. clones that while it may not live up to the source material, it's still a fun ride. If you have two or three friends to play this game with, you'll have a blast. The game is very, VERY easy to pick up and play and coming up with different strategies to overcome you opponents will start to come naturally to you after about 10 minutes of game time. However, this does have a down side to it. The game is so simplistic that there's really no competitive merit to trying to master this game. And that not only cuts into the replayability of the game outside of unlocking characters, but the game might get old quicker then some of the other four player fighters out there such as Smash Bros. Furthermore, there seems to be a lack of variety of game play, ... This is one of those Smash Bros. clones that while it may not live up to the source material, it's still a fun ride. Titles such as Power Stone 2 made up for the simplistic game play by adding in different ways to play as soon as you start "Arcade Mode". Battle DON doesn't really have this luxury and it's quite a shame. On the plus side, the character roster is just large enough to keep you interested and the graphics and sound are about as good as you can expect on the Gamecube. And like any four player fighter, there are a decent amount of items that you can pick up that may either help or hinder you. And some of the items you should recognize if you're familiar with any of the shows/manga featured in this game. But to dip back into the minor flaws of the game, the roster of characters are a little bit unbalanced and the stages that you can fight in are somewhat bland in terms of platforming and interacting with them. To summarize, this game is great to play with friends but very lack luster when playing alone. As expected, the AI is dumber then mud and the only time they have any remote chance against you is if they're given some unfair advantage. If you have the resources to play this game and can find it in the ball park of $30, it's not a bad purchase. Otherwise, I'd stick to Smash Bros. or Power Stone. While this game is decent, those two games still mop the floor with this title on the whole.

Battle stadium, well what can I say... its an anime/manga smash bro, and about time too. the graphic are as you;d expect in a game like this, nothing amazing but still pretty good. the game play its self is very good, I might go as far as to even say excellent.The fileds are cleverly designed and very clear. Also they are memrable to the show as some iconic battle have taken place there, i.e. Planet Namek and Luffy's Ship. Each field also has its owen twist, and different layout wich can make a difference to your fighting. The sound is alo very good, the voices have been kept true to the anime aswell, as all the voices featured are the orignal japanese voices that are from the show. The characters moves are orginal to the anime, which for all anime/manga freaks its a possative thing and ... The super moves and finishing moves in the game make it worth while, and are accurate in portrayling in how the moves are done, right even to the characters saying the move out. Now comes the bad points, when unlocking new characters, the game gets very fiddly. to unlock a new character you have to play a slot machine, and then play another one...oh god! it took me a whole 2 days to unlock one character. but its all worth it once you do! then there are the missons, not much to say on those, but they could be a bit more challenging and some less silly. Jump 100 times, like what! its pretty pointless but nessacery to collect coing if you even wanna have a chance at beating the game and unlocking all the characters. I would give this game a 8/10. they could have added more and made the character unlock part alot easier! thats the worst part... but if your a fan of the animes/mangas then this game is a must and will be very enjoyable! Happy gaming

Very Scratched. Did not work at first.
The product was really scratched and did not play at first. I had to clean it and buff some of the scratches out.

I really really like this game super fun. I dont like that to unlock characters you have to use a slot machine its hard.
