Good form & function
The black out appearance is understated so it doesn't look gaudy. I do astronomy & this is a great way to tell the time without temporarily wrecking my night vision. I'm not rich & work hard for my money. I deserve a really nice high quality watch but I'm not paying $100s of dollars for a PC carbon cased watch. You really don't save very much money. This watch's PVD coated stainless steel case is the quality I require & feel will last through my physically demanding job. My background checking says that among high quality, tough watches this is clearly your best value. The band is high quality, good looking and very comfortable but I'll buy the expensive stainless steel band that comes with the 6252BO version in a couple of months. Pros: This is a wonderful watch! I like the weight- not heavy but definitely not a lightweight. It has a feel of real quality. The face is easy to read even though it is a blackout design. The leather watch band makes this Luminox very versatile. The crystal is sapphire which is difficult to find at this price point. The luminescence is the icing on the cake- easy to read, bright and very cool. Cons: none I highly recommend this watch!Pros: This is a wonderful watch! Love the glow at night!
I really like this Luminox, and, being new to the brand, I wasn't sure of the quality, but having now owned and used this watch, it is sturdy, comfortable, accurate and reliable, and the best part is being able to read the time in the dark, thanks to the tritium tubes (which last 25 years) that don't require any charging to glow 24 hours a day. Love being able to see the time at night. All "lume" watches fade, but not these tritium light tubes. Love the blacked out "stealth" design too. Camp Outs or Lights Out!
A large, diameter face with a durable, flat , scratch resistant crystal. Great watch for casual weekends and with the Luminox gas indicators, makes it very easy to read in the dark. My previous Luminox had the rubber/silicone diver's watch band, but this one has a "Genuine Leather" band that gives the watch a more "Luxurious" feel and appearance.

The watch is great! It definitely has some weight to it, so if you are looking for something light this is not for you - I love it though! The sapphire crystal face is extremely durable. The illumination was not as bright as I expected it to be; however once I was in complete darkness and my eyes were adjusted, the illumination was much more prominent. I switched out the leather band for one of the Luminox rubber bands to make it a bit more sporty. The leather band gives it a more luxurious feel and could definitely be dressed up if you choose to!The watch is great!
