RIOT! - Paramore's riot of punk-rock
Paramore’s “RIOT!” is surely a great album. Aggressive at times, but generally can be smelled here punk-rock climate of Southern USA. Gladly to say, all singles released from this album are powerful and full of energy – worthy representatives of this composition. Fourth track “Misery Business” contains rather harsh and sharp lyrics, but that is what is valuable in Paramore’s music. Lyrics are surly their strongest advantage. The voice of vocalist in “crushcrushcrush” is confident and full of rebellious swagger. Her vocal is also deep, which perfectly suits the albums climate. Perfect example of it is a track “Hallelujah” – as can be heard, the word “Hallelujah” was sang really originally. Next to punk-rock tracks, there are also pop-rock like “When it rains” or “We are broken”. However, ... Paramore’s “RIOT!” is surely a great album. Yet, let not say that the Paramore’s success only lies in hands of the vocalist. The work of drummer in “Let the flame begin” is quite impressive. What’s more, the guitar riffs are worthy of great applause – they are really catchy and simple to try to play them by yourself. But the simplest things attract the most of our attention. And, not to neglect it, “Let the flame begin” have a powerful lyrics, which is why I enjoy this whole album so much. No matter how look at “RIOT!” is seems a adorable composition of punk-rock rage – odd comparison? Listen to the album and tell by yourself.

So much more than "pop"!
I just got this album a few days ago, and the first time i listend to it i found myself headbanging on my bed. Yes, this album is fun and has much deeper lyrics then you might think. I grew up in a world of tool being played loudly in the car when i was just a baby and then went, when i got older, for Evanescnce and Flyleaf. (Though i admit my very first CD of my was Hilary Duff's Metamorphosis-ironic, isn't it?) And i like the way Haylie isn't all about whatever stuff the other people write about, if they even wrote it themselves, which they don't. But Paramore does. This is a great CD to sing along to, and easy to learn quickly. My favorite song is "Let the Flames Begin". I love the power it delivers with the darker sense and more quality music. If you like high-energy and beautiful vocals, listen to Paramore Riot!
I just listened to Paramore Riot!cd yesterday morning 5-16-14, and I absolutely love this band! I saw one of their MTV concerts a few years ago and heard a few songs on alternative rock radio in the last several years too, but I didn't buy their cds until December 2013, February 2014, and last month or April 2014. All 11 songs rock! Hayley Williams is so awesome throughout every track! Her songwriting skills along with her bandmates are very cool. The album, I know I must be old calling them albums still, goes by in a flash. Outstanding melodies, guitar riffs, and Hayley's beautiful vocals shoot out high-energy and super vibes every single second! The booklet includes copies of Hayley and bandmate's handwritten lyrics for four of the songs. It includes each verse and bridge and chorus. ... They're punk rock, alterative rock, indie, emo pop punk, etc. I recommend Paramore Riot! cd to anyone who wants to rock out with songs that have some deep, confessional meanings and thoughts to them.

Third CD from Paramore. It shows the band imporving musically with age.
Still one of the best Paramore CDs made.
