Back to the days when the Crowes were good!
After Johnny Colt, Marc Ford, and Steve Gorum left the Black Crowes, they were never the same. Gone were the days of the soulful, experimental, and deep tunes we had all come to know and love. Ushered in was a new era of Crowes that just didn't sit well with most of us. It was a mixture of borderline bubblegum pop songs and soft hitting rock. With their newest album, Warpaint they were able to capture some of the ancient magic, but if you really want to hear what the Crowes do best, buy any of these albums: Southern Harmony and Musical Companion, Amorica, and/or Three Snakes And One Charm. I can now say that The Lost Crowes should be added to the list. Great unreleased tracks and some alternate versions of songs off Amorica. Great CROWES Album
As a HUGE Black Crowes fan, I cannot believe that I never heard about this album until I saw it on their website. THE LOST CROWES is a compilation of never released music from years ago and contains some never released versions of songs that have been released on other Black Crowes CD's. The album rocks and has some really cool, mellow stuff. If you're a REAL Black Crowes fan, you need this album. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and it's been in my CD player ever since. Lost crowes

Glad to have found the Lost Crowes!!
This CD is absolutely amazing. Original cuts of tracks that were later reworked and released on other albums are great, BUT the tracks that never made it to fruition are my faves. Another Roadside Tragedy, doesn't get and bluesier than this and my personal fave is Wyoming and Me. Great traveling tunes, Chris will lightened your load with his lyrics and depth while Rich and the boys put a skip to your step with that Black Crowes groove we all know and love. If you are a true fan this is an addition to your collection that should not be missed!!This CD is absolutely amazing. I like this CD very much, mainly the second CD. In my country doesn't has this CD anywhere. mY friends listen and says: "who this band". The Rock n Roll's good and old. I recomended for who like the good song.
