    Simple and glorious! A flat-out killer reverb pedal...

    This is a fantastic reverb pedal! Small footprint and a big sound. It has spring, hall, plate, and reverse reverb setting. I bought this because of the plate reverb, not available on previous incarnations of the Holy Grail. Plate setting boasts a full 30 seconds of 'hang time' when the time control is dimed. It sounds amazing. I find myself using the spring setting quite a bit as well. Also sounds amazing. The hall setting is great, can take you from a smallish space to a massive cavern. I didn't think I'd use the reverse too much when I bought it, but it is definitely fun to mess around with. Much more useable than I anticipated. The interface is simple and quiet, very user friendly, and the sounds are top quality. If I lost this pedal I would buy it again ...

    Awesome reverb effects & great value!

    This pedal is awesome! I did a lot of research online & at guitar shops before deciding to buy this one. It is very versatile & has great sound. I like to play surf music & other twangy stuff & this pedal definitly delivers. I tried the Boss Fender Legend series reverb pedals but they didn't have enough reverb. The Holy Grail Plus has as much reverb as anyone could want. It also does beautiful subtle effects. I had to find a power supply for Australian points which was easy & probably better as the one I found from Jaycar was smaller than the one supplied. My only complaint is it doesn't have 9V battery option.

    Great EHX reverb flexibility in a small package!

    I already have the EHX Cathedral(and love it) and wanted something that could capture a little of what the Cathedral could do in a compact pedal. I watched reviews on it and decided that I would try it out. Likes: True bypass! The price is decent for what it is, but it's a nice pedal and it's not free. Worth the price though! It can give verbs from very subtle to over the top and sometimes wacky with the Flerb setting. The 3 knobs on the Holy Grail Plus give you more room to tweak and experiment compared to the Nano Holy Grail. I like the Hall setting the most, and the Spring setting is very organic and very usable for someone who doesn't do much with 'effects' and doesn't want a lot of funky pedals in their chain.     Big-Box reverb? No. Thanks.

    This little unit has all the great reverb sounds you'll ever want, even if you have "Eric Johnson ears". I've been playing guitar for 50 years, and I've heard all the great reverb units. This one does everything they can do and more. I've always felt that written reviews of an audio product were pretty useless, so let me just say.....Go try one.

    My fave 'verb pedal

    I have a few reverb pedals, no boutique stuff but the usual suspects including other EHX, T-Rex, Digitech, DOD, Zoom, Vox ... I like not too "sproingy" springs, and plates. A fave real verb is in my HRDX, but the EHX isn't quite there, can't get quite so ethereal and atmospheric (Digitech does that better.). But the EHX sounds like it should, like a real spring verb, and the hall works for shoegaze, as does the rather unique flerb. At this level, the only verb I prefer is the EHX Neo, which replaces the flerb with a plate.
