Product Information

Developed by Vicarious Visions, the studio that created Spider-Man 2 for Game Boy Advance, this launch title is designed to make use of the Nintendo DS' unusual mix of features as it translates the movie license for play on the handheld. Though basically two-dimensional, the action plays out in 3D rendered environments; with a movement scheme reminiscent of the contemporary GameCube and PS2 hit Viewtiful Joe, Spider-Man side-scrolls down a path that bends and twists through the three-dimensional levels. As he progresses through the adventure (which follows the plot of the film), Spidey unlocks new special moves, which can be selected using the lower touch screen of the DS. The touch screen is also used for control in certain boss fights and mini-challenges, which are incorporated into the upper-screen's main action.

    Awesome Game

    This is the very first game I ever had for my DS. I played it for hours in order to get use to the screen layout and I never, ever got bored. This game is an action/adventure game but it's not so easy. This game put's out a good challenge, something I greatly appreciate. This game's graphics are great along with its gameplay. As for the storyline of the game, it's not the best but you won't even be thinking about when playing. Overall I do recommend this game to any DS player. It might not be a Mario Kart but it's still pretty good. Thanks For Reading And Hope I Helped!!!

    SpiderMan 2 NDS game review

    The game is excellent. Full of action, combo hits, after a little time playing, you get the feeling of it, and maybe even start to feel a little like spiderman himself! Action is constant while the clock is ticking. Graphics are fair, but they manage to pass the feeling. Game controls are very close to accurate. Both my kid and I, have much time of fun playing SpiderMan2. So, we recommend it even to folks who may or may not be fans of SpiderMan.

    Spider-Man DS game

    I bought this game for my grandson & he loves it! The graphics are great and it’s exciting. Super low price!

    Spider-Man 2 (Nintendo DS) Lite game

    Son really wanted this game. Got it and after a about 15 minutes he came out of the room complaining it sucked. Something about it being boring and a little difficult. He is 10 and Above average for his age so that could explain the bored part. He gets bored easily and if he has trouble with something he gets frustrated. I asked him if he wanted me to sell it and or trade it in and get him another one and he said no. It was just an okay game and he was somewhat disappointed with it but he liked it a little and he could play it good enough and he wanted to keep it for now. So that is my take on this game. Thanks. I don't know if I helped you or not.
