Product Information

Codemasters' F1 2010 is based directly on the 61st season of the FIA Formula One Championship, featuring the drivers, teams, racecars, and courses of the real-life Grand Prix series. Created for dedicated fans of the motorsport, the game focuses on presenting a sophisticated simulation of the power and handling of an F1 car, under a variety of realistic conditions. Developers incorporated real-world racing data and feedback from teams and parts manufacturers. The game's physics account for the whole car, part by overpowered part, to create an authentically "twitchy" feel in steering and acceleration, demanding precision from virtual drivers. In a sport of control, skill in managing the uncontrollable separates winners from the pack, and the game's dynamic weather system affects the courses in extensive detail. As rain begins to fall, for example, areas of the track sheltered by foliage or overhanging structures remain dry and safe, and after a shower, slick puddles remain in low spots as moisture evaporates from the rest of the track. Other fleeting details can change conditions in significant way, such as whether the track is still clean and "green" or has been broken in over a weekend of racing. Quick-race options are available, as well as a Career Mode campaign of three, five, or seven seasons, in which players must manage their F1 careers off as well as on the track. Multiplayer racing is supported over an Internet connection.

    The best real time Racing someone could have with out being their in person

    Great special effects and real life like racing. Formula 1 racing is hot and Xbox F-1 2010 made it a real winner. All the F-1 Racing years are very nicely designed and have super graphics. I like all the F-1 racing and can't wait to buy more and for the price, most all under $10 make it a collector dreams owning them. I will surely buy More F-1 racing, they have some many selections of car to select from for the different racing and track around the world.

    Any F1 Fan

    This game is a must have for any Formula 1 fan and any fan of racing in general. Codemasters is among the best of the best when it comes to racing (Grid, Colin McRae Dirt) and they don't disappoint with this. If you don't buy F1 '10 because you think Gran Turismo 5 is a better F1 racer than you should not be looking at thus review in the first place. 5/5! P.S. Some reviews say you need an expensive steering wheel to enjoy this game. YOU DON'T!!! I'm on my third season and i play with a stock Xbox controller.

    Awesome game!

    This is a great game. It is just like dirt2 but for formula 1. The graphics are awesome. Only problem I have seen once during each race the game will freeze for like two seconds but goes back running fine. Not a real big deal but it doesn't do it on the ps3, but the ps3 version framerate gets real low on certain tracks as the 360 doesn't as much.

    Almost perfect F1 game.

    This is the best f1 game I have ever played. The graphics and sound are excellent. As soon as it arrived I started playing and before I knew it 6 hours had pasted. There are lots of options to change the difficultly settings, so it can be fun for anyone.
