Beauty & the Beast 1991 Blu-ray & Dvd

Beauty and the Beast 2-disc Blu-ray & DVD
Beauty and the Beast is one of those timeless classics, that everyone loves. I absolutely love this movie from the bottom of my heart. I grew up with it as a kid, Law & Order's Jerry Orbach is one of my favorite actors, and he was perfect for the voice of Lumière. The other actors and actresses who lended their voices to this film were amazing too. Whats great about this product is you not only get the standard Theatrical version there's an extended version, the storyboard-only version shown at the New York Film Festival and a storyboards via picture in picture alongside the original theatrical version. So you get more then one version, which is really kind of neat. I remember watching this on VHS and at the time VHS was the best of the best technology at the time. So seeing this restored ... Beauty and the Beast is one of those timeless classics, that everyone loves. I absolutely love this movie from the bottom of my heart. It's very hard to find because right now its in the Disney vault, so it's really expensive but if you're a collector then this movie is worth every penny especially on Blu-ray. As in this format is rarer and its very difficult to find, compared to the DVD or VHS.

Everything I hoped it would be
I have always enjoyed this movie, especially the special edition. I knew to expect a great picture, but the first scene just blew me away. I remember seeing the movie in IMAX and seeing such clarity. This Blu-ray has the richest colors I have ever seen in an animated feature. Disney did this right. Every frame was crystal clear and even the dark colors were great. The difference between the Blu-ray and the DVD is profound enough to make one say "now it is time to buy a Blu-ray player. Having all 3 versions of the movie is wonderful. The Sound is so clear and completely free of any noticeable distortion from the dts-HD soundtrack. The channel separation really puts the viewer into the movie as Disney really used and enhanced the rear channels.I have always enjoyed this movie, especially the special edition.
