Need for Speed: Carbon -- Collector's Edition is ready to take you to the heart of underground racing. Set in the outskirts of the city, you begin by declaring a class allegiance, picking your crew, and finally, deciding which of the 50 tunable cars you want to make your own. Select a tuner, American muscle, or exotic car, and then begin your ride to the top. You may also use the "Autosculpt" feature to create a completely customized car if no existing car suits your needs. Selecting your crew is important because each member has a special skill that can help you make it to the finish line first. For example, a scout can find hidden short cuts, and a blocker can create a distraction. <br><br>Despite being forced by police to race in Carbon Canyon, the rivalry is just as fierce and the stakes are at an all-time high. The game features four areas of urban and rural pavement, and each environment is broken into sub-zones of drift, street, and duel racing for a total of 80 tracks. As you begin winning races, you will also earn territory within the city. Start losing races, and the territory is given back to the rival crew. To completely take over another group's turf, you must defeat their boss in a race. Multiplayer action is available through the Internet for gang, one-on-one, and canyon battles. The Collector's Edition features such bonus items as three cars, ten specially tuned cars, six races, ten vinyl kits, and a DVD containing behind-the-scenes footage on the making of Need for Speed: Carbon along with original content.

    NFS Carbon Collector's Edition

    The game loads of fun, but u can beat it in a few hours, what happened to all the hardwork and all the raced u had to do in most wanteds. This one its ilke u race like 15 races, race the boss, then do the next area then the next and the games over with. Graphics are good,lots of fun, like it how they got some of the new cars that will be comin out on the game such as the new Dodge Challenger and the new Chevy Camaro. I like that they had also used muscle cars from back in the day, sports cars and the luxury cars in the game. I thought the idea of having crew members to help u in the tough races was always nice and that u were able to autosculpt where u can customize the parts on ur car to the way u like it.The game alot of fun, but I think they should of made the story alot longer like ...

    Great Racing Game

    This is another one of those Electronic Arts Need for Speed Releases. This game has nice story, the videos in there are excellent quality. The only thing is that the graphics are not as good as expected. It is actually less graphic then the previous release. The cars in there are nice and hooked up. Races and handling are great. Great Game, Recommended!

    Fantastic for its time

    Of the Need for Speed Underground series of racing games, this definitely my favorite. Many new elements were introduced, which makes racing and customizing your cars more fun and exciting. The difficulty scales up throughout the game smoothly, and the AI never becomes too frustrating or unfair to race against. Highly recommended!

    Nice game and very fun to play

    Need For Speed CARBON (Collector's Edition) is a fun game to play. I like all car customization features and game graphics. What I did not like about this game is that some cars cannot be modified and/or used in career mode. I decided to buy this game because I like to play all the EA's Need For Speed collection.

    Need for Speed Carbon

    I'm a need for speed fan and have owned and played all the need for speed series and nfs carbon would be my top pick with nfs mostwanted not too far behind it. The races through the winding mountain is just pure excitement, whether your drifting through or completing the boss challenges. The customization which has always been part of the nfs theme has been improved to in this game with the option to either buy aftermarket parts or to autosculp the part to your liking. The different type of races provide adequate challenge and is not too hard and not too easy. The only thing I thought was a flaw on this game was that the career mode could have been longer or should have had more races. Also, they could have had more drifting too. Overall I would still rate this game a 9 and a must have for ...
