Product Information

Virtual vintners can take charge of their very own French chateau and work their way to the top of the vino world in Wine Tycoon. Players begin by building a winery in one of ten different regions of France, choosing from more than 40 grape varieties, and producing 50 different French wines, including Bordeaux, Pinot Gris, and Champagne. Along the way, gamers must plant the vines, tend to each crop through all four seasons, and hire a competent staff to help with harvesting and processing. "Career Play" mode finds players working their way up in the world by carefully balancing profits and expenditures, while "Free Play" mode offers a more relaxed experience. Wine Tycoon also includes a "Wine Encyclopedia" full of specific terminology and information about wine regions and grape varieties.

B-Grade - Poor execution but a Fantastic concept
This game will be only appealing to wine enthusiests. The biggest problem first was learning how to play. The tutorial was really weird and confusing. You have a lot to learn, that you have to learn yourself. You dont really understand what is going on and how you just won the stage. The game is very glitchly and contains quite a few errors, which is annoying when you have spent 30 minutes working on a stage and it shuts down having to start again. It has very B-Grade feel. There is no sense of reward when you win a stage. Its not the best execution, however, the idea is fantastic and I wish they had recieved a bigger budget to develop this game. This idea has got so much potenial. All it needs is 80% improvment with graphics and coding, more of an emotional approch in regaurds to ... This game will be only appealing to wine enthusiests.
