    Good quality printer for the price. I recommend it.

    I needed to replace my previous Brother printer as age and constant use finally took its toll. I'm rather brand loyal so I went right for another Brother printer and so far it's doing a great job. Set up was a snap and I really just like the way it looks sitting here by my desk. My only complaint about the design is the printed pages aren't easy to remove. My previous printer had a very pronounced paper guide/receptacle that lifted the pages up and gave plenty of area to grab them. This printer has two movable guides in separate areas but neither seems to be very beneficial in removing the pages. They don't lift the pages high enough. But that's a minor problem. When it comes to a printer it's all about quality and I'm happy with that. It's also much faster than my old ...

    Yes, I do you like your 'Brother HL-2240 Standard Laser Printer

    I Had an older that only printer 22,000 pages and started causing problems. The one I just purchased had printed almost double pages 52,000 plus and is in better shape.

    Good basic printer, runs fast

    Good basic laser printer. Older model but lasts forever if you take care of it. Fast output, good print quality.

    similar to timex, it keeps on ticking and takes a licking.

    This printer is living a tough life in a very dusty enviornment in our shop. It is used heavily each day, is hot summer days and cold winter conditions. It seems to use a lot of toner, and has moderate speed in spitting out the papers. But considereing the abuse it takes, it has survived fairly well. To be honest we have purchased four of them so as one goes down we can switch to another quickly.

    My 2nd Brother, as trouble-free as the last

    I had a Brother HL-1230 for 10 years. In that time, and with heavy use in my home office, I had exactly ONE paper jam and NO other problems, so naturally, when it finally reached the end of its life, I went looking for another Brother (preferably from the same mother ). This one is lightweight, VERY fast, quiet, great quality output, and so far (about 2 months later), trouble-free and easy to use. I haven't yet had to replace the toner. The single sheet feed is easy to use but the output comes out of the back of the machine, where there's no tray, and that can be a little awkward. I occasionally have to print publication-quality manuscripts of several hundred pages for publishers that require laser printing, and this just the ticket.
