Product Information

Gamers protect their desktop from hordes of invading Creeps in this DS port of the highly popular online strategy game. As in most games in the genre, Desktop Tower Defense finds players erecting projectile-equipped structures in strategic locations to eliminate all encroaching enemies, but the challenge comes when the enemies increase in speed, strength, and number. Creeps come in Group, Flying, Immune, Spawn, Dark, and Morph form, but killing creatures earns gamers points that can be used to upgrade turrets or purchase more powerful and versatile towers. There are more than 100 levels to conquer, and DS gamers also have the luxury of using their stylus and touch screen to custom-design completely original towers and uniquely creepy Creeps.

    Desktop Tower Defense for Nintendo DS

    Tower defense games have a long history dating back to the arcade game Rampart, but never really gained too much notoriety until user created content for real time strategy (RTS) games like Starcraft. Quick side note: If you do not own Starcraft, go buy it right now. It’s possibly the best RTS game ever made… Seriously… I’ll wait.     On the go

    I played the game online at handdrawngames.com where I saw the ad for this game. Not a bad little game especially for $20. Not too much new in it and building is a bit more cumbersome with the pad and stylus combo. The graphics are a little less than what I was expecting and the screen seems cramped. If you want to take the game on the go its great, otherwise play it online.

    Great game

    A great little time waster! I've played Desktop Defense on Facebook and decided to get the original for my DS to take on the road for when I have to wait in the car or just kill time somewhere. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have it for their Nintendo DS. It'll also make a great gift for that person who has everything else.

    arrived quickly

    My son begged to have this game. I bought it for him and he did not put this down. Everyday all day long he played this game. He talked about this game everyday. He loves it.
