Designated as Delta Squad, the commandos are tasked with squashing insurrections that oppose both the Republic and the Jedi Order. The player is entrusted with taking control of Boss as he leads his squad of troopers into battle."Star Wars: Republic Commando" features a full variety of locations in which to fight wars such as the Wookiee home world of Kashyyyk and the droid-manufacturing site of Geonosis. Players also lead the commando squad into fierce combat aboard expansive battleships belonging to the Republic and the nefarious Trade Federation. Opponents like reptilian Trandoshans and numerous battle droids will continue to oppose the gamer as the game progresses, posing increasingly difficult odds to surmount. The video game provides the protagonist with an array of weapons that include laser blasters, anti-armor guns, and sniper rifles to combat these relentless opponents. Gamers will fight through the heads-up-display (HUD) visor that must periodically cleanse itself as blood and lubricant fluids spray from defeated enemies. Unlike many other games in the FPS genre, "Star Wars: Republic Commando" requires that players work in conjunction with their teams to annihilate enemy forces. Star Wars Battlefront is my favorite Star Wars video game and I always wanted to play Star Wars Republic Commando because I think this is how the Clone Wars would be, wish someday someone makes a Star Wars Republic Commando 2.

Fun game, especially for FPS fans.
This is a very fun game for FPS fans. Even though this is an original X-Box game the graphics are high quality. It was made right before the 360 came out and it was already pushing the abilities of the X-Box. The game play is fast paced and easy to pick up. It has squad-based gameplay which is simplistic but it works very well in context of the game. It's not as advanced as, say, Brothers in Arms in that your squad commands are context sensitive. You can only command your squad when the right situation shows up. (for exapmle, when you have to get through an obstacle, you can point to it and order your demolitions guy to blow it up). All in all its a great game. Star wars fan will rally appreciate it. In fact, the combat gameplay is better than in a game like Battlefront. Though obviously ... This is a very fun game for FPS fans. Squad Based First Person Shooter With Star Wars!

This is an awesome squad based first person shooter with non stop action. You are the commander of Delta Squad (voice acting by Jango Fett himself, Temuera Morrison) an elite special forces group. You'll get to see new vehicles, enemies and locations from the Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith movie. The game has 15 levels (not nearly enough) with 8 alien environments & can be single or multiplayer/online with system link 2-10, as well as content download for new items and levels. "Can you Smellllllllllll What Lucas Arts is Cooking?" One super game, that's what their cooking. Republic Commando is a very good game I'd recommend whether you like Star Wars or not. The multiplayer game is great and under populated, but the single-player game is slick, polished, frantic, and exciting. The squad-based nature isn't revolutionary, nor is it as deep as "real" tactical games, but it's clean, easy to use, and doesn't slow things down. Add to that all the delicious details that LucasArts has crammed into every corner and you don't have many excuses not to enjoy it. Play this game get you really emerge in to the game. Your cloned brothers actually fell like your real bothers. You send so much time with them if game, it's really like their family. So it kind lonely went you get ... One is funny, while the other is serious, while the last is just battle hungry. No matter what happens in the game you will always need your clone brothers either for support or a revival. The Clones are the best support AI I have ever seen in any game. And in most other title the AI is usually to stupid to help. Not the case here. Sev is a hard core hunter as, Fixer is just a funny man and scorch is the heart of the group. Learn your squad strength and weakness is what keep you alive in this game. "Republic Commando" is a game I can recommend for just about everyone. It's no Halo 2 killer but it give Halo 2 a good run for it's money. "Republic Commando" is just a lot of fun without those Jedi would be nice, however Jedis are in every star Wars game. And for once it is nice to not play a game with a jedi in it, or a Star wars game depended on a Jedi to be popular. RC is game play takes a way from the usual Jedi slash force play and concentrate on a lot of the grunt action. But who know, maybe in the future a jedi or two may be in part two. Place this game to the end and play it twice. The ending is unbelievable and it leave you wanting for more. Well, this would be much of a review if I didn't talk about some of the weal points in the game. But no worries, there is just a few minor ones. One of the main problem in this game is that your weapons seem to lack a lot of punch. While the blaster is just average compared to the reaper and the shot gun, but most of the game you need your blaster rifle since you can adapted in to other weapon like a sniper fire and a anti-armor weapon. However weak the weapons are matters not because you have some "dam good" support in the game. Minor graphic errors, no big deal. I'm sure LucasArts has patched it by now, they usually stay on top of those things and if not it's doesn't hurt the game. Over all I have to give the game two thumbs up despite it not being graphical superior to most game. However what it doesn't have in graphics it makes up in game play. Over all this game wins you over with superior game play and team work. A supper first person action shooter and a good multiplayer adventure.

Great Value. Great Game.
I used to love to play this game when I was a kid and then it broke and I never bought another copy...until now. Still the same great game. Great graphics for the time. Condition of the game is exactly as was described and arrived quickly.

Battle Front 3
I've only tested this game because I bought a couple other games in a "liberal splurge". (Definitely got to save money now and save conservatively.) As a huge fan of Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2, I figure after completing these two games this version will also be a hit. When I tested it, the stormtrooper look cool as sort of outer-space knights
