Based on the classic Marvel Comics series, Sam Raimi's SPIDER-MAN deftly details the origin of the web-slinging superhero. Spider-Man (2002)
I feel like the very first Spider-Man film from Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures Entertainment has an engaging storyline but the weak-spots of the film are generally the dialogue coming from everybody's mouths. I'm thinking maybe they could've had a dialogue writer punch-up the dialogue in this movie. But that didn't happen, obviously. And the visual effects while great for their time, I don't think hold up that well, today....And I believe Mary Jane was miscast in this movie and her character could have been written better, but other than that there's nothing wrong with this movie. Like the trailer tagline says, it takes you for "The Ultimate Spin" doesn't it? A "Must see" Movie!
Everyone, young and old alike, knows, in some way or another, our friendly neighborhood Spiderman. So it is not surprising that when this comic book super hero was made into a movie, almost everyone was there to watch it. As there were a lot of reservations as to how the movie would come out, everyone was surprised on how it stays faithful to the feel of our web swinger’s world even if it doesn’t really follow the story of “The Amazing Spiderman” comic book. The actors and actresses did great in bringing life and drama to the story. Toby Maguire did a great job in giving us the wonder and pains of discovering Peter Parker’s powers. Although quite distinguishable, the CG and graphics are awesome. One thing that makes the movie stand out is the humor and the pacing. Following Peter Parker ... Everyone, young and old alike, knows, in some way or another, our friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Spiderman is a True Gem of a movie.
What can I say about Spiderman , Peter Parker - this touching and wonderful character and story? What everyone else has been saying about it - It's Excellent. It's a modern day version of this story told in a way that makes you feel for the character; his choices, his love for Mary Jane, his best friend Harry Osborne, and his beloved Aunt May. It emotional, action packed and very entertaining. The scenes with him becoming Spiderman is funny and so touching and the action sequences are breathtaking. The graphics and action scenes are done very well and does not leave you saying - How fake! I get so emotional when his Uncle Ben died and he didn't get a chance to say, "I'm sorry." But with great strength comes great responsibility and he is taking on that mantra and helping the citizens like ... The whole family went to the theater to see this and I just had to have it in my collection because my son love Spiderman action figures and I wanted him to experience this wonderful movie. I'm just writing a review but unless you've been under a rock - most of us have seen this story, again and again. It's a gem.

The first time I have watched this one and it really did surprise me as to the QUALITY if every thing involved from start to finish. When it was over I almost started to watch it over again.. THANKS SPIDER MAN
