Product Information

Inspired by Marvel's summer-2008 cinema, Iron Man returns to consoles and handhelds in a concurrently released combat action game. Players take the role of the troubled engineering genius (and billionaire) Tony Stark, creator of a powerful suit of high-tech armor he wears to become the title hero. Combat takes place both on the ground and in the air, and players have access to the hero's power armor abilities, including rocket boots and repulsor rays. The game plays out across large, open, multi-objective battlefields, where Iron Man can re-purpose objects and equipment to attack enemies or cripple their defenses, as well as put his suits' arsenal to good use. As in the film and comics, different armor suit options become available as the story progresses, offering different powers.

Iron Man the game PC
I bought the PC game of Iron Man a few weeks ago. Its a good game that follows most of the movie script. The game has good graphics but the story and game in general leaved me wanting more of the game such as more characters and more features as far as weapons go. also it would of been great to be able to customize suit colors and to be able to destroy more things. over all i give this game a rating of 6 out of 10.!!I bought the PC game of Iron Man a few weeks ago. A complete waste of money and a disgrace to Iron Man
This pathetic piece of software masquerading as a 'game' spouts eye-popping system requirements, and combined with viewing screenshots of the game for the XBOX 360 and PS3 one is left with high expectations. Unfortunately, the result not only fails to clear the high bar, but isn't even able to jump. Graphics in a game is the top consideration, and here Iron Man for the PC fails miserably. The chunky surfaces are reminiscent of games like the original Half-Life, with overall quality being slightly less than one of the Zelda series for the N64. Any number of titles for even first-generation consoles, never mind second-generation ones like the PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast - all now long since obsolete - would *run circles* around this title. Effects are even more pathetic than the average - for ... The last word on this shoddy software would be to simply save your money if you don't possess one of the consoles for which there is a version. I was able to play to the second level in an attempt to at least get some small satisfaction for my money when the clunky controls finally got the better of my patience. I would consider it an insult if someone gave this 'game' to me free of charge, and will be donating my copy to the thrift store with a warning note from the previous owner enclosed.

IRON Man certainly isn't GOLDEN
The game is underwhelmingly simple. It seems like something a first year programmer put together as a homework assignment. It is a really unsofisticated game. The action and gameplay are weak, especially compared to games like: Star Wars-The Force Unleashed; Splinter Cell; Assassin's Creed; or Metal Gear. I was pretty disappointed with it. The game enviroment lacks thought and has little to no interactivity. The saving grace of this title is that it's fun to fly around and simulate some of Iron Man's action. I won't say, "Don't purchase this game." I will suggest that if you are going to buy it don't pay more that ten dollars, if that much!The game is underwhelmingly simple. Fun game, and worth the money.
Good game, and the price was great. Very happy with the whole thing. We bought the game for my husband and he was very happy with the game and the price for it.

the game is ok...mouthing dont really match with the speech,,,i think the Xbox or ps3 version is better
