Four Great Christopher Lee Dracula Movies! One Great Price!
Liked Three of the Four! Taste The Blood! Not being the One! This is towards the Distributor! Why is The Second of Lee's Dracula Sequels The Prince of Darkness Missing? Can't find it without paying over $70 for a used DVD! Christopher Lee Most definitely picked right up where The Great Bela Lugosi left off as the character! Lugosi was Creepy! Lee was Horrifyingly more detailed because the showing of his Fangs covered in Blood as well as Red Eyes! Color does add to it! Glad to see Lee take on a character that best fitted him! and by playing Dracula more than Half a Dozen Times! Being around 6 Foot and Four Inches Tall Sure added to his structure!Liked Three of the Four! Taste The Blood! Not being the One! This is towards the Distributor! Hammer Horror 2 Disc-4 Film Set Review
Those who purchase this set should know that the movies themselves are identical in quality, color and sharpness as the individual sets sold by Warner if you are looking for a single movie title by itself. These are back-to-back movies on two double-sided discs. I personally feel Hammer and Warner took a back-burner approach to Hammer films in general in giving them no real special treatment at all. The film's qualities with any of these sets is minimal and suffer from time and wear. Since they are the best current treatment to date I won't complain much which is why I gave it a good rating. "Dracula, Prince of Darkness" is the only one missing from Hammer's lot that I would have liked to have seen released by Warner. To my knowledge, the only available copy is ... I hope when and if the blu-ray's come out on these they do a decent restoration job on them and make them all available. Now that is off my mind, the movies themselves bring back the memories and surprisingly still bring the chills a good horror flick should, in spite of the campy story lines, (especially the ones made later in the 70's). They are still good for a "popcorn" afternoon in front of the set and for some reason their novelty doesn't seem to wear off like some newer ones do.

4 Hammer Draculas'. Money well spent!
Probably the quickest and easiest way to grab 4 of the Hammer Films, with Christopher Lee as the title character, Count Dracula. Lee gives a quiet, yet effective portrayal of the nobleman who is also mankind's greatest menace. The films are presented in their original widescreen, on two double sided discs. Horror of Dracula/Dracula Has Risen from the Grave Taste the Blood of Dracula/Dracula A.D. 1972 Story quality varies, starting off strong and weakening as the years rolled by. The first 3 films do have a linking story line, in much the same way that Universal did with some of its' earlier monster films. Too bad that "Dracula, Prince of Darkness" wasn't in this set as the linking narrative would be much more obvious. Make note of how Dracula is finished ... Lee's Dracula is Incredible
Lee's Dracula is incredible and intense. He's the best Dracula and his portrayal outranks Lugosi's! The musical score is excellent and gives an atmosphere of gothic foreboding and the set's were awesome! The price was right and it got to me on time.

My mom loves Christopher Lee’s Dracula!!!! This is such a great value set! 4 of his movies in one! She will love it! It didn’t come wrapped but that’s ok the dvds inside were in perfect condition! Thank you!
