Alter Bridge's Universal Republic debut is the follow up to their debut album, the Gold-certified album ONE DAY REMAINS, which debuted at #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart it's week of release. The Album featured three consecutive hits on rock radio: "Open Your Eyes", "Find the Real" and "Broken Wings". Comprised of Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips, Brian Marshall and Myles Kennedy, three of the four members of Alter Bridge made up the 30+ million selling band Creed.

    It catchy…definitely something I can use at the gym

    Inspired by the guitarist Mark Tremonti memory of a bridge, which he was not allowed to cross as a child. (Located on the controversial Alter Road, at the intersection of Korte, “which forms the border between the city of Detroit, Michigan and the city of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan.”) Alter Bridge is composed of Myles Kennedy (Lead Vocals; Guitar) and former Creed band members Brian Marshall (Bassist), Scott Phillips (Drummer), and Tremonti. Unknowingly, I have been listening to Alter Bridge for quite some time now as their single, “Metalingus,” off the album, “One Day Remains” (2004) is the entrance theme of World Wrestling Federation (WWE) Superstar Edge.     Creed - 1 = Great band! (Alter Bridge)

    This is my personal favorite by the band. I can't help but to be reminded of Creed when I listen to all of Alter Bridge's releases but even though you can detect similarities this band really stands on its own. I was one of those people who bought Creed's first cd "My Own Prison" back when the band was new, I liked it because it was very well written, kinda dark, edgy and very melodic. Alter Bridge still evokes the sames feeling for me (which in my opinion Creed lost after the debut in '98). This is good driving hard rock music with a message. Excellent vocals (I believe better than Scott Stapp was or currently is) and hopefully the band continues moving in the same direction that Blackbird leads them down.     Simply The BEST

    If you love hard rock, metal, or music altogether, this is a must buy! Considerably harder than their first album, this CD starts with a bang and holds on till the end. There is something for everyone from metal to ballads (mostly metal), but they shine in all they do. The guitars and solos are amazing, and the vocals are great! If they get better with the next album, it'll be the best album ever! This one is great, but falls just short of absolute perfection! Soon...soon....     Blackbirds

    Bonjour. Apres l'achat et la découverte du groupe " Alter Bridge ", j'ai décidé de trouver le second album du groupe nommé " Blackbirds" Après quelques recherches, j'ai enfin pu trouver cet album et 'acquerir. Ce qui motivé mon choix, c'est l'attrait que j'ai pour ce groupe ainsi que pour leur premier album. La durée de l'album est convaicante ainsique le nombre de morceaux. Par contre, la simplicité du boitier, se limitant à un simple boitier, est un peu décevant

    Blackbird by Alter Bridge - Excellent CD

    I read that Creed had broken up a few years ago. Ultimately, it was Stapp's substance abuse and increasingly erratic behavior that brought an end to Creed in 2004. The remaining members partnered with vocalist Myles Kennedy to form Alter Bridge. I was interested to hear their music based on my opinion of Creed. I bought the CD on EBay and it was in excellent condition. Every track was awesome! If you like Creed - you'll love Alter Bridge! It is definitely worth checking out!!
