Been there before
Seemed a bit derivative--opportunistic, but it was good. I liked it okay.

It's BLANDINGS, not the Blandings
If you are into British humor, (I am) and if you read Wodehouse's beautiful English prose when you were young , (I did), you'll enjoy seeing these crazy characters come to brilliant life. Very well done. I wonder why there was not a third season. Stories have been selectively whittled down, of course==but brilliantly done with excellent directing and wonderful actors. Season 1 was better overall, but Season 2 has some wonderful gems.

Did not keep me from reading the novel.
What a wonderful story with wonderful writing, wonderful characters, and wonderful romance too!! I LOVE IT.
