Sticky surface. Restarts every 2-3 hours.

1. When device is idle it restarts every 2-3 hours.
2. The surface us very sticky. I had this problem with my previous Ooma after several years of use. This one was already sticky when I opened it. I found many complaints about it on Ooma forum, with no good solution. So one has to keep the device in the original plastic bag or cover it with some film (see the photo).
