This is a brilliant product.
I thought this description was too good to be true when I heard cases existed you could just plug a hard drive into, and work like a portable hard drive on USB. Yeah, I haven't been keeping up on tech for a long time, but I was intrigued to hear about this capability. I had one fail to read incident, but it has not happened again. Seems like an isolated incident. It really is as simple as it is described. I would have made the case a little more durable, but I like things overbuilt. If you treat it like any electronic device, it is built plenty strong, and should not give any issue.

Works great
After checking the float adjustment installed just fine and runs my old (early '90's) 5 hp Tecumseh engine mower just fine. I was surprised to note that the carb, unlike the one it's replacing, does not use a seat--the seat is raw brass and the needle has a rubbery tip on it. Not sure what rebuild kit will work but will cross that bridge down the line. FYI mine used a plastic float (I like it since I've had bad luck with the soldered ones) and an adjustable needle out the bottom jet; again, although my original had no adjustable needle I didn't mess with it when I took it off and it ran great as is. Gaskets were included and worked fine.

Series is great fun...highly recommend.
Love this series....same author as Trigun and inspired two 12 episode seasons of Anime, which I recommend as well. I'm a fan of the writing. Characters are great fun, stories are episodic...they mostly stand on their own.
