a terrific lens
It's commonly said that ultra-wide lenses have only very specific uses---implying that one would use them far less often than their wide-to-normal range cousins. Much has been written that this lens, by its design offers no ability to place a filter in front of it.
Having said that, I've used this lens quite a bit, and find it a delightful, nearly general-purpose lens for shooting landscape work. It's amazing lack of spherical (fisheye) distortion makes it possible to shoot outside scenes which convey all the spaciousness and scope that you often want. It has a phenomenal depth-of-field, and an amazing tolerance (for being such a big heavy lens) for being hand-held.
This is an expensive lens, but then, you sort of get what you pay for.

smart watch
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I have experience with 3 smart watches before this: the Pebblg Steel, the Pebble Time Steel, the LG Urbane R. I still use the first two, but the LG quit pretty soon after I bought it. The primary complaint about the first is that it is only a monochrome device. The PTS is color but loses contrast and readability because of it. Both Pebbles sport rather small image sizes. The LG's image looked rather coarse, never as nice as its promo pictures. Then it quit. I didn't like it well enough to even try to get it replaced. So, now I have the Samsung Gear S2. The resolution and brightness blows the other 3 away. I have had none of the complaints other reviewers mention. I pair it with a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. I even can still use the Pebbles.
Minor complaints only: some features I use are accessible only far down in the menu system; the number of apps and particularly watch faces is slim compared to the other 3 watches, but the ones I use are guite nice. So unless you are an Apple fan (I most definitely am NOT!) this would make a good smartwatch choice; I chose the S2 Classic over the S3 primarily because the S3 is bigger-- smart watches are already too large IMNSHO.

you must appreciate tungsten!
I have been looking for a watch made from Tungsten (NOT Tungsten Carbide, which is entirely different!) Finally found this one on e-bay, and was able to satisfy my lust for something made of the metal. As heavy as lead or gold, this watch is 12oz.! Think of strapping a can of Pepsi on to your wrist!
I bought it for the weight, and I am pleased. If feels like a "brick shi---house and I love that
It turns out to be very accurate for an automatic (3-5 seconds per day). The sparkling dial is something you love or hate. There is no contesting that it is very DIFFERENT, but it stops just short of being gaudy. The best part of that dial is that it changes color and depth according to the lighting striking it. Yep, different.
The least positive of its attributes are the Roman numerals user for hour markers. They take up way too much territory, and obviate reading this watch accurately.
Lume is just "okay."
But oh, that hefty tungsten (metal). I LOVE having people pick it up and asked, perplexed, "Why would anybody wear a watch that heavy."
