Political comedy! absolutely- - and none better!

This movie, “Our Man in Havana “ is an excellent piece of movie craftsmanship. As a wry work of English comedy it is probably unsurpassed. Sorry I couldn’t praise it with whole rows of 5stars, but I was expecting one of Carol Reeds serious political dramas. Didn’t expect a work of tongue-in-cheek comedy. For what it is, it couldn’t be improved Enjoy!

This movie was a pleasant surprise! While expecting a juvenile mashup of kid stuff with a little profanity and sex thrown in, the story actually unfolded apace with the expected comedy style presentation by actors— but not so excessive that it detracts from the storytelling. Good gags and adequate acting.

Tells its story in an interesting way

This director knows how to keep his story interesting. Whether it’s the personality/motives of his characters, the way his scenes are lighted or the minimalist furnishing of the interiors it’s hard to take one’s eyes away from the screen. Top level entertainment!
