Preservation of some of Robbins
Intriguing adaptation for tv of Robbins' original stage work from the 1950s, created about the time he was working on "West Side Story." Manhattan locales add flavor to the dances.

Good but a little flimsy
I had an earlier model of this NB pedometer and used it for half a dozen years before it went bad. The new one has a few new features, like the body fat analyzer (of likely limited accuracy). The set up is a little more difficult and the unit itself seems, well, a little flimsy. How well it will hold up I don't know. The accuracy seems pretty good as it only slightly different from a Map Your Walk route I measured first time I used it.

Thank Goodness they recorded it...
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Regarding complaints about a fuzzy picture, it should be remembered that this video of "Cats" was recorded in 1998, just as high-definition video was coming in. Videography has advanced a great deal the last two decades. The is a bit of grain visible in some shots, especially those done with zoom lens when a character is at the back of the stage, but it does not detract from the presentation that much. The second act has been reworked a bit - it's rearranged and shorter - and the show is the better for it. "Cats" was already more than 15 years old when this video was made, but a number of members of the original London and Broadway casts are thankfully present. Elaine Page and Ken Page reprise their roles as Grizabella and Old Deuteronomy. Several attempts to get a film made of the show have come to naught, so we should be thankful this record-breaking show has been preserved as well as it has.
