Mark of the Lion
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought this series to read while rehabilitating from surgery after a serious injury. I was captivated by the characters right from the beginning and could hardly wait to go from book to book (there are 3). This story follows a jewish slave who has to hide her true Christian identity from the Roman soldiers or face the lions in the Colosseum (which she does at one point) and about a Roman gladiator forced into fighting after getting torn from his home. The story follows their lives and the lives of an elite Roman family and unfolds throughout their lives. It is so nice to have a novel that has great characters and a great story line that is written well. I would recommend this series for men and women as well as teens.
