Bounty of interesting rail day trips

A great resource for the traveller to Britain interested in scenic short rail trips. Each of the many trips has a one-page summary including station stops, distance, time and frequency of service. Inside the front and back covers is a map of Britain showing the routes, indexed to each summary. The summaries are well written and the book has many colour illustrations. It is small enough to take with you on your travels. The book is organized by region and includes trips in all parts of England, Wales and Scotland.
