2nd time around...
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. Original purchased nearly a year ago. Dropped it on hard surface and speaker failed. (salvaging as cross-band repeater). Replaced with upgraded version. Massive improvement on PTT switch. Signal clarity is product of too many variables to isolate. However, UHF vs VHF is the big one in that signal travels differently and terrain is second. Neither a fault of radio but rather complication of physics. Battery supplied with upgrade leaves charger and adapter very warm. Changed antenna to mini-whip because most of my time on-air is at the bottom of caldera. Recommend getting the cable and program via computer...So Simple! Earpiece is one of the best in terms of hear-ability I've ever used. Bought hand-held mic extension with original and it works well with this replacement, but use it rarely...too small for my hands, again not fault of radio, just my DNA.

A person could have 180 fuse-related auto electrical problems and never phone for a repair.
It is a full spectrum of needed ATC / ATO blade fuses...1 to 40 amp selection is certainly sufficient variety and quantity for the average driver to tuck into the trunk for odd emergency. All color coded and stored neatly packaged in a clear divider box with hinged snap-closure lid. GOOD PRODUCT...SPEEDY DELIVER. Product arrived as described.

It is a toss up!
For me it is a toss up. Base on research prior to purchase, including online video's, i expected more from the product. The range of controllable loudness is broader than expected, but i find the sound quality to be harsh and there is no control to soften it. I have found no research discussing that aspect, though at this point, my search is incomplete.
