Intel X540-T2 Dual Port 10GBASE-T Server Adapter - Authentic Yottamark Hologram
    24 avr. 2019
    Authentic ones work great
I use these in servers all day, they work great in vmware and straight windows/linux. Work great for iSCSI. Make sure you get the one with the authentic hologram, if you don't then you'll probably end up with a knock-off that doesn't work right.
NEW DRO 3 Axis digital readout with high precision linear scale / linear encoder
    04 mai 2018
    Excellent value
Remember that this is an Inexpensive DRO. It is accurate - I checked it against known calibration items and it was spot on. What's missing is quality and some details in a lot of other areas. The readout is lightweight plastic, and although it is functional, it just feels cheap. The readout on the English setting gives you an unused decimal at the end, so it takes getting used to. On the glass scales, the encoders have a thick uneven chrome coating on the housings, which makes for a less-than-precise mounting scenario. The included mounting hardware give you a few things that are usable, but most of the mounting hardware will be stuff you fabricate. The instructions are useless. I am pretty good at reading 'Chinglish' but this is just horrible. The instructions reference buttons that don't even exist, and display settings that don't either. I still haven't figured out all the functions. But aside from all that, it is functional to the point that it gives accurate, repeatable measurements, and that's really all I needed.

Behmor 5400 1600 Plus Drum Coffee Roaster
    07 sept. 2018
    Roasts well, questionable quality
This is a decent roaster for the cost, but I found out the hard way that it blows fiberglass all over your coffee. There is unsecured fiberglass inside the roaster, and it is in the air path that heats your beans. After several years of use, the entire inside of my machine was covered in fiberglass 'fluff' and I found out that it was actually blown into the roasting chamber during roasting. Probably the only thing that saved me was the fact that I brew with a Chemex, and the thick filters probably trapped most, if not all, of the particles. If they would fix that part, it's a good roaster. It does wear down over the years, and after a few years you can expect a max capacity of about 1/2 pound. You will never be able to roast a full 1 lb after a few years unless you replace the quartz elements. But as long as you realize that you have a 1/2 pound roaster, you're good. Roasting dry processed coffees, such as Yirge Cheffe, will result in fires. The chaffe collects in the pan corners and heats up to ignition. Roasting less helps, about the most I can do is 1/4 pound. Wet processed coffees with less chaff are fine. The smoke suppression is good, but you can't use it in the house. Even under a hood, your house will smell like smoke. Without a hood your house will be filled with smoke. It really can only be used outside; I use it on my patio, and even then it's pretty smokey and you can smell it roasting inside the house. Quality has gone downhill. The newer models use a super cheap drum made of thin expanded mesh, with cheap chrome plating and a crappy latch. Be prepared to lose a ton of green coffee as you forget that the cheap excuse for a latch doesn't work worth beans (pun intended) and when you shake the drum to clear out the dust and dirt (which you should be doing), the lid falls open. Previous drums were steel wire and the had a positive latch; although they too were chrome plated (I understand the obsession with chrome plating). It's made in China.
