Jars of Clay: Redemption Songs
I used to have a copy of this but gave it to my church music director so I needed to buy another. I love this because I love Jars of Clay, it's easy to listen to, upbeat and what's better than all these Baptist hymns that we sing in church?

Great book
My relative is in this book and it was fascinating to learn her story, only 150 years ago but it might ofllhave been 2,000 years ago - life is so different now. Have great respect for her and the other women featured. Fascinating and personal.

Fascinating autobiographical account of an unbelievable story
Learned of this story on PBS Masterpiece. Bought this book to read the autobiographical real story and to learn more about her religious conversion. Unfortunately she had destroyed the diaries but has a good recall which is honest and revealing. I would recommend - people who are familiar with the story might get more out of it but I felt it compelling.
