Yah it's a canteen
Solid canteen. Pouch is cool too, not bulky yet protects from scratches.
Cap was unimaginably tight. I had to use channel locks and even then it took a good 1/2 turn before I could get it by hand. Cap wasn't cracked or anything so no big deal. Always wash before using.

Sufficient replacement
Fit great, worked great so far, perfect replacement if you've stripped your current plug. DONT FORGRT TO ALSO BUY NEW WASHERS, you can not reuse the washers for the front and rear differentials.
