Good Basic Post
This is a throwback to the 90's....you can't find a modern bike that uses a 26.6 seatpost and if you have a "classic" bike you can find a 26.6 seatpost unless you buy used. I recently picked up a 90's vintage Burley Duet tandem and found that even with the large frame size I just couldn't get the seating right with the very nice Thompson Elite seatpost. Enter the Sunlite setback post. Moves the seat back just enough that I can get situated. Where the Thompson is beautifully finished and superlight-the Sunlite machining is coarse and it's at least twice the weight. But hey, it's a tandem. I have someone else helping to move the thing. If I was uptight about weight I'd be riding a Calfee carbon. The Sunlite is a hammer. Built to drive nails and it does it well. If you need a 26.6 post and you can't find one used (the ones are saw were beat) this is a pretty good choice.

Low Cost-But Works
Let me say right off for an "adult" BMX bike the fit of this unit would be perfect. I was not, however, using it on a full size but a Walmart kids BMX so the getting it properly adjusted required some adjustments that I would never do on a bigger frame. That being said this is a typical Tektro product....with a few changes made for obvious cost saving. Unlike a full-size unit, the noodle here does not fit into a floating bracket but directly into a recess in the non-drive side brake arm. It works and can still be removed without loosening the cable but can lead to a kink in the brake cable as it travels across to the drive-side arm and cable anchor. All the necessary mounting hardware was included down to the thread-lock compound on the mounting bolts. Adjusting was a bit of a fiddle but only because of the size of the bike. It's running on a front-detangler and that has no real effect on operation....operates as you would expect. Good low cost alternative for a low cost bike.

Just About Perfect
Bought this to hold my Samsung S6 Edge on my FJR....found that the Maps on the phone is better than my Garmin Streetpilot for day-to-day navigating and needed a way to safely and firmly mount the phone to the bars where I could easily see it. This unit had a couple favorable ratings to I bought it. The S6 is a bit on the larger size and fortunately the grip arms are adjustable not only for width but also for position. This allows you put the arms in different positions so as not to obstruct any of the phone buttons....very nice. My phone is in a Spigen case and the unit fits it just fine. The tension is plenty tight and held it securely at triple digit speeds on my last ride. Seems very rugged and with a ram ball and an unused mirror mount on my clutch master cylinder....perfect location.
Great product....no reservations about recommending it.
