AN HBO SERIES THAT WAS NEVER FINISHED

This series is very engaging, once you get past the horrific use of the F word (2980 times) and other profanities. It also has some historical accuracies, as Seth Bullock, Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Jack McCall, Sol Star, and Al Swearengen were real Old West Characters involved with Deadwood. But the Worst Fault is that the series abruptly ended after the 3rd year!! In the words of the (recently) late Powers Boothe “we were looking forward to the 4th season, as they were negotiating for a fifth season. Then we were told that the Deadwood series was finished”! David Milch gets the credit for all of the profanities, which he tries to justify during a session with Keith Carradine in disc #6 of season #1. Poor Keith Carradine had to listen to this egocentric writer/producer Brag about himself for 60 minutes!! My condolences go out to Keith Carradine. In my opinion David Milch needs to find another occupation.
