Buddha Bar Nature DVD---short attention-span nature dvd
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This dvd has great nature footage, but we were disappointed by the quick scenes, each shot seems made for an audience with attention deficit. I got the dvd for my four year old son who loves nature movies, but the first thing he said was, "The pictures are too quick!!!" He tried to watch the first disc (it's a 2-disc box), but the flashy images bothered him and he played through most of it with his animal toys, and asked me to yell at him when the animals of his interest came on. Then we would run it in slow motion and repeat repeat repeat. This is a pity, as the images are really incredible. Each image could be held for a bit longer. The music is good, the overall concept reminds me much of the early 1980's movie, "Quoyanisquatsi"---contrasting the natural world with the fast-paced, frenetic human world. Only Buddha Bar succeeds in making the natural world somewhat frenetic too with its short-attention-span images. The footage is truly beautiful but doesn't do justice to nature's serene beauty.
