Some Signal Improvement for 4G Phones
The system I received was not brand new. It did not come with any manual, but it was easy to find it on the web. It was easy to install. We only needed to plug in a Window Unit to pick up the signal from the cell tower, and a Coverage Unit at another location in the house for the phones to access. The Windows Unit only detected one bar of signal, whereas the phones could get up to 3 bars from the Coverage Unit. It was, however, difficult to verify how much the system was helping. SMS seems to be more consistent, but data rate for web browsing is still unacceptably slow based on the cell service alone. Perhaps the extra power from the system is not meant to overcome the low bandwidth from the one bar of signal. This system is meant to help older phones up to 4G LTE. The 5G phones seem to have better signal connection in the house already.
