Ford Explorer 3.5L NA Spectre CAI
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Overall performance of this product is great so far however Spectres final product lacked quality. The Aluminum intake tube had scratches and dents in it which didn't make me too happy when receiving it. The Cold Air Intake works amazing however the kit doesn't provide a replacement vent line that plugs into the drivers side of the intake tube. It looks like Spectre didn't account for the coupling piece that mates the intake tube and the throttle body so in the last step you connect the remaining vent line and it is 2.5 inches too short so I rigged something up to get me to the part store instead of ripping it out. The hose that I needed was 6 inches long but had to buy a foot and costed 2 dollars and change. Not that big of a deal but you would hope they would have caught on to that. Definitely a boost in power at take off and in 3rd gear. It also makes my Explorer sound amazing! I would recommend this over a K&N anyday with this costing half of what the K&N would cost. I'm very satisfied so far.
