Masterpiece

While zooms up to 600mm are popular and fill your frame with more subject, the mind bending sharpness of this lens resolves more details even as the subject is smaller. When you pay more for this lens, you aren't confused by what that money got you the first time you use it.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM Lens - Pro Workhorse!

You get what you pay for in lenses.

I picked mine up well used, but not abused. After tightening some screws, the thing is flawless. 200mm at f/2.8 is very nice, and the thing is built like a tank. Using an Extender with it is generally pointless, but it works. I love the lens and it's gotten me many shots my slower lenses just wouldn't.

Good value

It is what it is... And that would be a crop sensor version of a 6D Mark II, which is largely why I bought it. It comes with all the weaknesses of a crop sensor body, and the strengths as well, such as greater macro magnification and greater length on lenses with no optical penalty like with a teleconverter. It's AF is somewhat weaker than the 6D2, but not problematically so. It's a useful piece of my kit, to augment my 6D2, not replace it. Each have their own uses, which should be understood. Overall, I like it and have gotten great shots with it.
