Those early Mormons were peculiar people

Thorough research, thoughtful and fairly objective conclusions. I have trouble with some sources for some events; e.g., sources for the Fanny Alger affair loop and all derive from a single first-hand witness. In other places, other accounts hint of conflict of interest in the witness(es), lessening their credibility. But all in all factual, important, long overdue, with some original interpretations and explanations for current Mormon custom and doctrine. Alert: this book may distress Mormon-friendly readers unfamiliar with early LDS history. Its info and conclusions take some assimilating...

Jersey Large Recliner Slipcover

Better cover than my last one

I'm happy with this cover. Took a while to figure out where to put the pieces and stretch them far enough. Had to pin the back; it just wouldn't stay. But it fits tightly now and stays in place. Thin jersey but sturdy. I wish they'd posted a closeup of the pattern. It looks more leopardy and less camouflage than in the picture.
