great game! can be frustrating like real surfing

surfing is much harder than things like skateboarding. and this game shows it. you definitely need to get in your practice and actually read the instructions. but when you rip the wave just right, the feeling is the best. graphics are pretty good. this game could've use widescreen action but that's a missed opportunity.

better than the original arcade machines!

I bought this to relive some of the great games in the package and they did not just emulate the original game. At least for the Rush games, they sped up the framerate and the game has sharper graphics. If anyone remembers the original arcade machines, these Rush games had poor framerate but now it's buttery smooth! The older Atari games didn't fare so well. Stun Runner was choppier than the arcade version. Race Drivin' was smoother than the arcade and the control is better with the thumbstick, but it was never a great game to begin with. The Offroad games are terrible compared to the arcade versions. The control is just plain bad.

Spectacular over-the-top basketball!

You'll love this game! You get nearly all the current NBA stars but can create your own team too. The number of spectacular looking moves is huge. Sometimes, you're mouth with hang open at some of the moves. now as a basketball game, i think i would put NBA Jam Tournament edition a little higher because it's faster paced and you just play. in this game, you're thinking of how to make each basket more fun to watch, rather than actually playing a game. you can win quite easily playing normally, but it's not that fun that way. if you play nba street straight up, it's kind of boring.
