It will work
These type of tripods have gone up price wise and are being made light and cheap.
I like the slow motion controls but the tripod has a weak cheap feel so I wouldn't call this a "heavy duty" tripod. Looks okay but like everything you have to pay a lot more for quality, but it will do.
