C-mount to m42, simple but effective

This ring adapter makes it easy to fit C-mount lenses into m42 bodies or adapters. I've used it to attach a C-mount lens to a M42 focusing helical which allows for fast macro focusing using C-mount lenses. Coincidentally the 50mm Componar enlarging lens also uses a 25mm mount like the C-mount, and I've attached that lens to the camera with infinity focusing. This adapter is simply a piece of metal with threads for m42 on the outside and 25mm on the inside. There's not much to go wrong. The threads are well-defined and correct, the metal is flat without defect and the adapter is painted black. The only thing to be aware of is since it simply screws into the mount, there is no stop when the adapter is screwed in all the way. I don't consider this a defect, but it is something to be aware of.
