Dual Fuel LPG Carburetor For DuroMax XP10000EH 16HP 18HP 8KW 10KW Generator

Replacement duel fuel carborator, worked well on my DuroMax EP1200EH Generator

Installed very easily on to my DuroMax XP12000EH generator. Note: this setup has a drain valve and hose to drain the fuel from the carburetor float bowl for storage preventing the carburetor from gumming up. Installing took about 20 minutes. I tested Gasoline first, fired right up. I adjusted the idle screw by tuning it in till it ran rough and backed it off 1/2 turn. I shut off the gasoline, drained the float bowl, then tested the propane. It also fired right up and ran very stable. Need to mention though, with this propane setup you need to insure you have a propane regulator (like the one used on a propane grill) or it will overload your intake system with propane. This setup is great and I absolutely love it. Hope this helped. Take care, mark from Oklahoma

Recommended for 5.4L design

Installed without taking off oil pan, little tricky but possible. After priming when starting the engine, pressure came right up. Seems to work well. I would recommend having a higher volume oil pump because of the 5.4L engine design. This should solve many underlying problems and look forward to this engine lasting for a couple hundred thousand more miles. Thanks, mark
