Great upgrade for my kit
Upgrade from the single cymbal hi hat that came with my TD-17 kit. Much more authentic and sounds great.

Good valves but TERRIBLE finish
Unfortunately I used Danze oil-rubbed bronze in three bathrooms and am stuck with it for awhile. The valves, castings, etc. are excellent -- very sturdy, perfect tolerences, and easy to install. The problem -- BIG problem -- is the finish. With our hard water (San Diego) we got about three years out of it until the finish flaked off, replaced by white mineral deposits at every joint. Very disappointing for an otherwise fine product.

Poor quality for the price
Not cheap but band looks cheap. The padding is made with foam, not leather, and the foam is visible through the holes.
