Slot for retainer is too narrow and too shallow.
Pin length and diameter are okay, but the slot for the retainer is supposed to be 12mm and it is 3/8" or 9.525mm so the retainer must be cut or ground down to fit, and the slot is also 2.4mm too shallow, so the retainer has to cut or ground down to fit between the pins. Not good at all.

Save time and buy FSP parts - these are junk.
1 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I've bought two of these from two different sellers. Both are junk. The first one cannot be adjusted - no matter where you set the knob the fridge temp is below freezing - 26 to 28 degrees. The second unit I ordered has the hole in the clip drilled/punched off-center so the knob cannot be installed - see photo. I have been repairing appliances for 45 years. Do yourself a favor and find a factory part - FSP parts are what you want. Sure, you might get lucky or you can even return a few of these to save a buck if you don't need your refrigerator right away, but how long will this unit last even if it works?
