A Great Mix
When this albem first came out, I figured it was just a re-release of a lot of their old songs with a sing-a-long tempo. Not so. I Stand For You: The Worship Project takes on a life of its own with "All Over The World" a collaboritive writing effort from Matt Redman and Martin Smith of Delirious?. Along with "Lift", "Great Kindness" and "Have Your Way", the boys of Tree63 combine the beauty of great sound and Holy Spirit inspired lyrics. Throw in the all time greats of "Treasure", "King", and "Joy" done live, its a must have for any modern worship lover. Most especially if you have seen the gents from South Africa live in concert.

Delirious?: Right On
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Delirious? has been adjusting their sound ever since "Cutting Edge" was released to start a revolution in worship music and style. Trying to reach more mainstream listeners, Martin and the boys went more hardcore, and lost some of the appeal that they held as challengers of the Church. We glimpsed some of that challenge on "Glo" and "World Service", but it wasn't all there. "The Mission Bell" herolds the complete return of Delirious? to what they've been called to. The perfect mix of awsome rock and in-your-face raw worship. Every single song has that Holy Spirit gut busting vibe that puts this band in a class of their own. Be prepared, the Fires really do Burn.
