Works As Stated
This is a simple device but both the panning base, panning mount & alt adjustment are pretty crude. So when you get polar alignment & try to lock everything down, you fall off your alignment. Takes several tries to get it well aligned. But once your aligned, it tracks well.

Useful Head but hard to lock
Got this to use as a tilt plate w/ a Nano Tracker. It will do the job but the pivots must be tightened hard to lock it in position. I worry the little knobs/levers will break. So far, its ok. The light weight of the head is a plus for keeping kit weight down but the 3 Kg load limit is probably generous. Wouldn't recommend this for longer focal length lenses.

What You'd Expect From Zeiss
This lens is particularly good for IR photography - no hotspots. That's rare for an ultra-WA lens. It also has very good IQ in visible light.
