Perfect! Plugged it into my old Sub-Zero...
Perfect! Plugged it into my old Sub-Zero model 561 which was on its third mechanical timer. It started right up. This Supco solid-state timer should last forever.

Absolutely necessary for tinkering with small parts.
It's one of those tools that you may not use very often but when you need one, there is no substitute. Being able to magnetize and de-magnetize your tools at will is a great help. This tool is well made here in USA and there just arn't any like it out there.

Perfect! It was exactly the same as the ...
Perfect! It was exactly the same as the original thermostat on my Sub-Zero model 561.
The wires that connect the thermostat are rather short so I spliced a 16" wire to each one of them in order to make installation easier. The green (ground) wire had been cut, bent back and taped out of the way - not sure why. I lengthened that one too and connected it to one of the ground terminals on the thermostat.
