Bought it for video but enjoy taking Stills with it

I bought this camera because it can record 4K video at a decent price. It's still capturing ability is very good good I enjoy using the camera. Will it replace my DSLR? It still can't do everything a DSLR can do like take 12 mm wide( panorama mode is a compromise) or very close macros but it's convenient for having one good lens and a lighter-weight.

tamron 70-200 f2.8 lens

The Tamron lens is a huge leap from the kit lens. I have a 50-200 f4-5.6 lens that came with my Pentax KX and its a whole different camera with the upgrade. As far as the build quality...I would guess that with the amount of use (about once a week) and with some moderate care, I expect this lens will last me 7-10 years. OUTSTANDING PICTURES this lens has made me look like I know what I'm doing...The biggest improvement is with animals, the shutter speed is much faster with the larger aperture and birds are actually crystal clear in flight. Portrait pictures look stunning with more depth of field. Carrying the extra size and weight are well worth it. I chose Pentax because of the value in lenses. As far as I'm concerned I can take as well of a picture with my kit as with a Canon t1i and a 70-200 IS f2.8 lens with a savings of at least $1200. In conclusion, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this lens to you as well.

High quality sound and a lightweight yet durable design

I was expecting these to be a little bigger and a little heavier but they're very comfortable and Light and the sound quality is not compromised battery last a long time.
